Mormon Church Supports Utah Medical Cannabis

Global Cannabis Applications Corp. believes access to medical cannabis is vital. We welcome Utah Governor Gary Herbert’s announcement
of a compromise with the powerful Mormon Church in that state to get medical cannabis to patients “after years of waiting for relief.”

The Church, traditionally opposed legalization of medical cannabis, agreed to a compromise that will bring stricter regulations than other jurisdictions. Elder Jack Gerard said it will “scale back its campaigning now that a compromise had been reached.”

“We believe it creates a framework that is good for patients, their caregivers, is good for children, and in our mind, that’s good for Utah”
